voor engels hebben wij een kook filmpje gemaakt:
Fe: My name is: Fe van Berkel. Welcome to the third edition of the great cookshow.
Diew: My name is: Diewertje Aarts.
Beau: My name is: Beau Vermeer.
Fe: Today is a special day because we’re having a british high tea. We’re making scones, muffins, (tea) sandwiches/ wraps. Great for a tea party or on a lazy Sunday. It does take some time but it’s worth it.
Beau: We’ll start with washing our hands and getting our ingredients together. We’re starting our high tea with making scones. The ingredients for making British scones are: a complete package for Scones and 2/3 cup water.
Diewertje: Preheat the oven on 350 F. Grab a bowl and mix the water and the mix together with the mixer for 3 minutes so the dough gets nice and smooth. After you have mixed the water and the mix, cut the chocolate in small pieces and put it in the bowl.
Fe: Mix the chocolate into the mix for 1 minute. Take the mix out of the bowl with your (clean) hands and make one round piece of it. Separate the dough into 8 pieces and make round balls. (A little bit of flower helps against dough sticking to your hands).
Diewertje: Wrap the balls in some plastic and put them in the fridge for 5 minutes.
Beau: Take a griddle out the oven and put some baking paper on it. Take the balls out the plastic and put them on the griddle.
Diewertje: Bake the scones for 17-19 minutes.
Fe: Here are some tips:
1. For a pretty effect put some egg yolk one the balls
2. Scones are delicious with jam, lemon curd and crème fraice.
The ingredients for wraps are: Salmon, herb butter and wraps
The ingredients for muffins are: Muffin mix, muffin molds, 4½ oz butter, 2 eggs, 1¾ oz water
